Oriental Cockroach

ORIENTAL COCKROACHES are also sometimes referred to by some as the water bug. They are found throughout the whole country. The total length of this roach can be 1.25 inches. They have wings but can not fly. The adults are very dark brown or nearly black. They can be found in Yards, beneath leaves, dumps, crawl spaces, and in the mulch of flower beds and are also common in high moisture areas. They are sluggish and are usually found at or below ground level indoors. These roaches are known to forge indoors during periods of drought or as cold weather approaches.
